As VJD Construction's chief financial officer, Tara D'Aquino oversees all financial operations, from financial planning and risk management to reporting and financial decision-making. Tara D’Aquino has over 3 decades of experience in the role, from Landry's Corporate office and VJD Construction.
Among her responsibilities, Ms. D’Aquino develops the company’s long-term financial goals, oversees budgeting and financial analysis processes, and ensures financial statements and reports are prepared in a timely manner. Furthermore, she identifies and evaluates financial risks, implements necessary policies, and ensures the company complies with regulatory standards. She also oversees cash flow management and leads the financial department team.
Tara D’Aquino has a background in the hospitality industry, having worked for Landry's Seafood Restaurants in multiple locations across the US starting when she was 17. She was responsible for getting operations up and running at each location, including Aventura, Orlando, Florida and New York City. Her experience in the industry contributed to her passion for travel, particularly long airplane rides, 5 star hotels and restaurants. In her free time, she also enjoys attending concerts.
